this blind-contour portrait body of work started in 2020 and has continued in the background of everything else i’m working on for most of the ensuing years…

this woman … this woman we are standing behind … is my cousin’s bride. what a couple. open, strong, confident in their huge love for each other and their community. an incredible rising up out of all that has been and looking forward to the newness and the next.

the 16” x 20” painting is 100% archival: india ink on 100% cotton watercolor board, mounted on a cradled wood panel, sealed with wax medium for water resistance and easy cleaning. it can hang as is, or you can purchase a floater frame to amp up the formality.

all purchased artwork will hang at city o’ city in denver through the end of august, 2024. it will be delivered to new forever homes in the month of september.
