THE GOLD RUSH STORY

 Idaho Springs is the home of the Gold Rush. The location of Colorado’s first substantial Gold finding.  

At the confluence of Chicago and Clear Creeks.  One of my favorite places to visit on the regular.

Where George A. Jackson found placer gold in January, 1859.

And this gypsy girl’s been holding still: the Gold Rush collection was all made HERE.  In Idaho Springs, CO.

I said, “YES.”

and look how far we’ve come from there. :)

I was so over the moon with the backsplash, I couldn’t stop making these little hexagonal miracles.

“WHAT IF we drew little landscapes?! … made them into fine art magnets that snap strong and hold tight
“WHAT IF they were bigger?!” …. turned into coasters?!
“WHAT IF … “

… has turned into hundreds of original tiny works of art that have caught water’s movement frozen in time, that sparkle in the light and feel solid and smooth in your hands…
